As an HVAC/R Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial/ industrial buildings. Your position will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients by providing exceptional service and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Repair or replace defective components in HVAC/R systems.
- Install new heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve complex problems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all service and repair activities.
- Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or license as an HVAC/R technician.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC/R industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and their components.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC/R systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
